Going on a guided tour is an excellent way of learning more about the history of Långholmen, or taking a much-needed break from your conference. The guide will show you round the old prison area and the museum, with the exhibition ‘From Crimes to Chains’. You will learn about the long and eventful history of the prison, from the Spinning-House era in the 18th century to closure in 1975.br> A guided tour is equally suitable for a conference group and as the prelude to a party. Guided tours in English are available. Drinks can be arranged before or after the tour. All other groups, too, are of course welcome to book a visit to what used to be Sweden’s largest prison.
