Långholmen is Stockholm’s seventh-largest island, and perhaps the one about which most myths and
stories are told, because of the old prison. Now you can discover for yourself that it is not only an exciting place, but a
piece of unspoilt countryside. A visit to the island can be a full-day excursion, with a walk and a refreshing bathe in the summer.
Whenever you come, our prison museum is open daily between
11 a.m. and 4 p.m. At certain times of the year, guided tours
